Types of Braces
Cibolo Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics offers three different orthodontic options:
- Metal Braces use metal brackets and wires to straighten the teeth quickly and effectively. Today's metal braces are sleeker and more comfortable than metal braces of the past, and they work to straighten the teeth 24/7.
- Ceramic Braces are similar to metal braces, but they use clear or tooth-colored brackets to appear less noticeable. They are a great choice for patients who want to utilize metal braces but want a more discreet option.
- Invisalign® uses clear plastic aligners to straighten teeth. These aligners are completely removable and fit comfortably over the teeth. Patients must wear their aligners for 20 to 22 hours per day to keep their treatment on track.
Your Experienced Cibolo Orthodontist
Dr. Konstantoni received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Athens in Greece. After practicing general dentistry for a few years, she moved to the U.S. to pursue her dream of becoming an orthodontist. Dr. Konstantoni completed a three-year residency in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Saint Louis University and then received her Master of Science in Dentistry degree. Her valuable expertise is a big part of why our practice offers exceptional orthodontic care!
