Lauren Digioia, DDS
Board Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Lauren Digioia was born in Gainesville Florida. Growing up in a military family, she has traveled and lived in many places around the world such as Germany and Japan. For college, she attended the University of The Incarnate Word where she received a bachelors degree in Biology.
She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas at San Antonio. While in Dental School, Dr. Digioia remained very active in many pediatric extracurriculars and published an article in The American Journal of Dentistry. Following Dental School, she then continued her education at the University of Florida, specializing and receiving her certificate in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Digioia has many exciting events in the near future, including marrying her fiancé Domenic who is attending an oral surgery residency at UTHSCSA in addition to becoming a parent to her new fur baby (a goldendoodle named Honey).
When Dr. Digioia isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family, baking and enjoying the outdoors.
Patricia Reese, DDS
Board Certified Orthodontist
Dr. Patricia Reese brings more than 10 years of caring experience, premier training, and cutting-edge research as a Board Certified Orthodontist.
She loves helping patients create beautiful smiles that make lasting impressions. She is particularly passionate about providing second chances for patients with severe issues as well as fine-tuning aesthetics for those with milder ones.
Dr. Reese is Board Certified Orthodontist by the American Board of Orthodontics and she Graduated from the Orthodontics Residency Program at UCLA.
Also, she holds a Certificate in Orthodontics from her native country of Peru and she is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Reese has facilitated discovery of emerging treatment and suppression of bone loss in Cancer patients and recently published research in four major journals, including the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Joanna Ayala, DMD
Pediatric Dentist, Board Certified Specialist
Dr. Ayala was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. She earned her Associate of Science degree from Blinn College in Brenham, TX, and her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She continued her studies by receiving her dental degree from Boston University, where she served as Class President and graduated Cum Laude.
Prompted by her passion for children, Dr. Ayala continued her education at Miami Children’s Hospital and earned her specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry. Her training included many aspects of pediatric dentistry like sedation and hospital dentistry. She is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Ayala is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and American Dental Association. Her practice is limited to infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents.
Dr. Ayala provides excellent service in all aspects of pediatric dentistry in a caring, professional and personal manner.
Krystal Moya, DDS
General Dentist – Limited to the Practice of Children
Dr. Krystal Moya was born and raised in the great state of Texas and is a proud graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. Hook ‘Em! After completing her undergraduate studies, she went on to attend Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Tx where she achieved her Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Dr. Moya then moved to San Antonio, TX and began her professional career, where she has been practicing Dentistry for over a decade. Dr. Krystal Moya has spent many years treating and caring for the pediatric population, helping them to achieve beautiful, healthy smiles.
When she is not practicing, Dr. Moya enjoys spending time with her family, reading a good book, exploring the beautiful Texas Hill Country, or traveling to new places.
